Yip’s interest and passion for photography began in 1998, when he was given a 20 year old film SLR camera by his father. Ever since then, Yip has looked into the world from a different perspective. During the earlier years of Yip’s photographic experiences, films and developing chemicals were the only tools he could use for photography.

Yip shifted from the traditional film process to digital photography in 2004. From this point, everything in photography changed for him. The convenience of digital photography allowed Yip to explore the wider range of possibilities that never existed in the darkroom. It opened up a complete new frontier of learning and skill improvements.

After 8 years of experience in photography, Yip decided to bring his passionate hobby into reality, and YipH Photography was created. Yip has worked with professional photographers from all areas to gain an insight into the photography business and new photography techniques. Yip has been involved with many weddings and social events. In particular, he has a good understanding of both eastern and western wedding cultures.
